Female Owned is more than a newsletter: it’s a community of small business owners, freelancers and creatives who know that there is a different way of doing business. A slower, gentler and more profitable way, without the hustle and hacks.
Our monthly discussion threads are a lovely, gentle space for you to connect, get accountability and ask me questions in the mini-mastermind.
This month I’m adding a new feature to the thread: once every three months the discussion thread will be devoted to sharing, connecting and collaborating.
How this works
Once every 3 months, I’ll ask you to share what you’re working on: this can be a recent product you launched (or are about to launch); your business in general; your newsletter; a project you’re embarking on; art you’ve created and more.
The comments section on these posts is a way for you to connect with others: from subscribing to their newsletters, to potentially even buying their products or collaborating with them.
Are you interested in collaborating with someone? Collaborations can look like sharing about each other’s business or newsletters, doing guest blog posts or interviews, to actually working together on a product or service.
These kinds of collaborations have always been so fun and useful to me. Reach out in the comments, have a virtual tea with someone or make explicit that you’re looking to collaborate. Collaborating works best if you specify what your business is about and what your values are beforehand.
Let’s grow together
I’d love for Female Owned to be a place where you can connect with like-minded small business owners, freelancers and creatives.
If you’re a free subscriber you’re receiving a preview of this first post because I want to invite you to the share, connect and collaborate-thread too (you will not receive any of the feature share, connect and collaborate posts).
If you want to comment and read the comments, read behind-the-scenes posts on how I’m running a slow, gentle and profitable business and feel supported by the Female Owned community through threads, our accountability club and the mini-mastermind, upgrade your subscription below.
