Astrid, we've just moved to substack last month and I have been looking for creators like you. I am a HUGE proponent of building your business to fit the life you want and have and not the other way around. This post is a great reminder that I'm not alone in this approach. Thank you for giving business owners permission to build in an unconventional way!

Hey Astrid - I just did your Substack course and it was so helpful! Thanks so much for such a great course. I have chronic illness too so need to do all my work from home now and it's a challenge financially. But it's also so nice to know that I can take days off whenever I need to, which takes the pressure off hugely. ❀️

Ooh I've loved reading your words Astrid and I'm so happy I now have a publication here and therefore I can follow you actively 😊.

I love that you remind people that success and needs are personal, that a slow business is indeed possible and that it needs to revolve around our needs, desires, etc. Not the other way around.

Oh and I've actually re-descovered my passion for jigsaw puzzles recently πŸ˜„. So nice to find out that you also like them ! The 3 you've mentioned look really beautiful! Do you frame some of them ?

Thank you for your kind words Martina, they're so lovely to read! I'm happy that my words are inspiring to you ✨

I don't frame the jigsaw puzzles, primarily because I try to encourage myself to do them again (although I do have 3 large boxes in the attic with puzzles, so not buying new ones is not going really well πŸ˜…) and sometimes like to lend them to others too. What kinds of jigsaw puzzles do you like to do?

Astrid, I keep meaning to thank you!! I found you through Pinterest a year ago, subscribed to your newsletter because of my growing dislike of social media, and then found Substack because of you!! And it’s been a game changer for me!! Thank you so much!! 😊

"I do not have a β€˜six-figure business’ or whatever the new sexy number is. But I do have a business that makes the money I need it to, and that to me is amazingβ€”and hopefully encouraging to you."

EXACTLY this! Thank you so much for reminding me that I AM doing this right...for me!
