Quite honestly, before late 2021 I didn’t know that building a thriving business without social media was possible.
I didn’t see anyone else do it. I didn’t know anyone who had a small business like I mine and who had left social media. I didn’t know whether I could leave social media without running my fledging business into the ground.
Since I stopped using social media, my newsletter has grown from 135 to over 1700 subscribers, I’ve attracted dozens of new customers and 1:1 clients and am making my business goals come true.
More importantly: marketing feels good. I’m marketing in a way that is aligned with my values of slow, gentle and profitable. I’m marketing in a way that uses my strength and joy of writing.
