How and why I pitch to podcasts
My tried and tested tips + 3 podcast hosts on what works
Many of you found me through Alice Sheridan’s podcast Art Juice (welcome!). I’ve been doing podcast interviews for a while and, to my own surprise, really enjoy them. They’ve also been a great way of growing my newsletter and business without relying on social media.
In this paid-subscriber only post, I’ll share why and how I pitch to podcasts, explore how I choose podcasts to pitch too, how I pitch (and the email I send) and how I prepare for podcast interviews.
And, as a special bonus, I’ve asked three podcast hosts what they look for when they receive podcast pitches (hint: it has very little to do with the current size of your own ‘audience’ or business).
Eager to read how I find podcasts to pitch to, get the template for my pitch email, tips on preparing for your interview and read what podcasts hosts are looking for?
