“But what if marketing feels gross to me?” and other questions about how I can support you in Grow
The doors to Grow are open for two more days 🎉
Grow is on sale for just two more days! If you’re craving to feel calmer, more intentional and more confident in your marketing, I’d love for you to join me and small business owners just like you in this hybrid marketing programme.
A couple of years ago I wrote a post about how my ideas about marketing have changed over the years. Until I started my business, I primarily had experience being marketed to.
And the experiences that stood out to me were not great. The time I bought a way too expensive lipstick in my teens because I felt I couldn’t say no to the sales woman in the fancy store. And the time I signed up for a membership just so I could get rid of the sales man who stopped me on my way home.
When I started my business, I knew that I didn’t want to market that way. But I feared that I might have to.
What I ended up doing, like many small business owners, was to market so subtly that it was pretty much invisible to the outside eye. And I didn’t think there was any other way to be more explicit, or more visible that didn’t feel gross.
Over the years I developed my own gentle and intentional way of marketing, that allows me to be 100% myself and to attract really lovely clients and customers. This approach is the foundation of my marketing group programme Grow, in which I help you develop your own confident, calm and intentional marketing strategy, suited wholly to you, your life and your business.
So no, you don’t need to be pushy, aggressive or gross to market your business. There is another way.

Some other questions you might have about Grow
What does it mean that the programme is hybrid? How much access do I get to you? And how many live events do I have to attend?
Grow is hybrid because it consists of both self-paced and more live elements. The six core modules of the programme are self-paced and you can do them at any time—and come back to them as often as you want. Through my biweekly emails, the monthly recorded office hours and the live and recorded planning calls you get my eyes on your business, and your questions answered. The only true live element are the monthly planning calls, in which I support you to plan your marketing for the month. But if you can’t make it, or don’t want to attend, that is completely fine. The call will go up on the programme site immediately afterwards, and the accompanying workbook will allow you to do the work by yourself. The dates and times for the live calls are in the FAQ on the sales page.
You have lifetime access to all of the materials.
Will Grow work for my type of business?
Grow is not designed specifically with one particular type of business is mind. I’ve designed it based on the work I’ve done in the past 5+ years with small business owners, freelancers and creatives of all kinds: from service providers to product-based businesses, artists and writers. Because the marketing strategy that you will design in Grow is tailored completely to your business, it doesn’t matter what kind of business you have—even if you’re only just getting started.
What will I learn during this programme?
You’ll learn that marketing can feel easeful and can even be fun. The programme is structured in such a way to help you get clear on your current marketing first, and then explore the options for marketing. In the second half of the programme you’ll put together a plan that works for you and will start experimenting with ways of marketing that are all you (including without social media!). Throughout the focus is on you: on what feels good to you, on your strengths and needs. While I’ll be offering lots of strategies and examples, my aim is to support you to create a unique marketing strategy that serves your business and your life.
What is the time investment for this programme?
Working through the monthly workshops and workbooks will take you about 60 to 90 minutes, and the office hours will be of varying length, but around 30 to 45 minutes. The monthly planning calls will take about 60 to 90 minutes.
I’ve designed the programme to be done next to your business (and your life), but of course it really depends on how much time you want to put into it. As a rough estimate, one to two hours a week of actually working on your marketing (and doing it) should be enough. However, since you have lifetime access you can also choose a slower pace. There is no falling behind.
I’ve tried other programmes before. How is Grow different? Will this programme require me to follow a set model or blueprint?
Grow is radically different because I don’t require you to follow any specific type of model or blueprint. With Grow, I’ve created a container within which you design your marketing foundations and strategy—with my support at every step of the way. Whether you want to focus on online marketing, or also include offline marketing, whether you want to leave or minimise social media, whether you love video much more than writing—everything fits.
The only thing that is set in Grow is that the kind of marketing that I teach you is slow, gentle, intentional, confident and effective. If you want to do marketing that is pressured and loud, or aren’t willing to accept that businesses take time to grow, this programme is not for you.
Will you be running Grow again?
I plan to run Grow again in the spring of 2026, although this is of course not set in stone and the price is likely to increase.
What is the financial investment of the programme? How and when do I pay?
The cost of the programme is €990 (around £825/$1040). You can pay this in full when you buy the programme, or in monthly instalments at no additional cost: either 4x €247.50 (around £206.25/$260), 6x €165 (around £137.50/$173.34) or 8x €124 (around £102.90/$129) (find your currency here).
